Within Highlands Veterans Plaza, there is an Honor Walkway consisting of bricks with the inscribed names of veterans, most of whom have ties with the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau. They have been purchased by area residents to honor veterans. This walkway grows each Memorial Day and Veterans Day as newly-purchased and installed bricks are acknowledged during those ceremonies.
